We are happy to introduce Marc Lundquist as the new Head Coach for the Regis-Altoona Girls Golf team! The co-op between the Regis and Altoona Girls Golf teams will begin in the fall of 2016.
Lundquist started teaching Social Studies at Regis Middle School during the 2015-2016 school year. He previously taught at South Middle School in Eau Claire.
Lundquist has coached several sports throughout his teaching career, including football, cross country, tennis, basketball, track and softball. He also served as the South Middle School Athletic Director. He says he’s excited for this new opportunity.
“I am a lifelong golfer and an avid fan of the game,” Lundquist said. “Although I have not coached golf before, due to primarily teaching and coaching at the middle school level, I have always hoped I would have an opportunity to do so. I am privileged to be teaching at Regis and am eager to represent the school through coaching as well. I am passionate about golf and am looking forward to helping each girl on the team reach their maximum potential while creating a positive experience they will always remember.”
