Several of our Regis Ramblers coaches have completed or are near completion in the training process for their 3Dimensional Coaching certification.
Being a 3Dimensional Coach means that you are 1) fundamentally sound; 2) skilled at coaching the mind/motivation of the athlete; and 3) focused on capturing and developing the heart of the player. A 3Dimensional Coach realizes the power of the coaching platform to inspire, motivate, and produce positive change in his or her sphere of influence. He/she is acutely mindful of the moral, social, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of his/her athletes.
These coaches are excited to transform the lives of other coaches and our Regis Ramblers athletes during the upcoming seasons.
Coach Jim Deignan says, “The 3Dimensional Coaching training has been invaluable thus far and in truth, just like reading scripture, the value is never ending as you continue to read and put into practice its core principles. Fundamentally, all things in life require a certain level of talent and ability, but today’s athletes (more than ever) need coaching that goes beyond feedback related to their skills. Just like with today’s employees, coaches and supervisors alike must get into the hearts of their people to get the most out of them. 3D Coaching shows how to do that, using human relations skills in a way that isn’t rocket science, yet is so often forgotten along the path towards “victories” in sport. Coaches who understand that real victories can occur every day, whether in practice, in a game, or off the field or court, will inevitably come to realize that their influence can impact wins and losses far greater than the actual record, and the actual record may just turn out to be better than what would have otherwise been possible.”
