Session I
WHO: Male athletes entering grades 10-12
WHEN: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays | 6 to 7:15 a.m.
8 Weeks: June 6 – July 29 (The only exception is Tuesday, July 5 replaces Monday, July 4.)
WHAT: This course will consist of a combination of weight training, plyometrics, speed training, agility and flexibility. This course is very intense and is designed for athletes seeking to become stronger, faster and more flexible which will decrease each athlete’s risk of injury. The exercises in this course are designed for athletes looking to improve their performance in sports such as basketball, baseball, football, hockey, track, soccer, tennis, etc.
Session II
WHO: Male athletes entering grades 7-9
WHEN: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays | 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.
8 Weeks: June 6 – July 29 (The only exception is Tuesday, July 5 replaces Monday, July 4.)
WHAT: This course will consist of an introduction to weight training, plyometrics, speed training, agility and flexibility. Emphasis will be placed on teaching young athletes how to correctly perform a variety of core exercises with correct technique. This will serve to build a good athletic foundation on which more sport-specific skills can be developed.
